Look in the account and mailbox used for the application

Search for the portal name, application reference and messages containing attachments. Check inbox, junk, notification tabs, archives, deleted items and downloads on the device used. If an authorised provider handled the application, establish which email address was used.

Use the tracking service for the correct portal

For a KSA Visa application, use its official “Track your application” service with the original details. For a different official application route, start with that route’s account or support service rather than assuming every reference works in every system.

The government’s services listing also includes electronic-visa printing for applicable records. Follow links from the official platform. HTTPS and a .sa ending are useful checks but are not, by themselves, proof that an unfamiliar website is official. If an agency applied, ask for the original visa, official reference, associated contact details and invoice.

Check eight sets of details

Compare the document with the passport and intended trip:

1. Surname and given names.
2. Passport number.
3. Nationality.
4. Date of birth.
5. Visa category or purpose.
6. Issue date and relevant validity or entry deadline.
7. Number of entries.
8. Permitted stay and any additional conditions.

Verify authenticity without exposing the document

Use the official application record and support channel to establish the status. Compare the reference, identity and visa details instead of relying on a logo, QR code or professionally formatted page. Avoid uploading the full visa to an unknown online “checker”.

If following a link from an email or code, inspect its destination before entering personal information. Do not give a stranger your password or verification code. Where an official record cannot be retrieved, ask the authority to resolve the uncertainty rather than treating appearance as proof.

Keep an original, an offline copy and a printout

Preserve the original file without editing or unnecessary conversion. Save a protected offline copy and make a printout that includes every edge, number and code. A4 or US Letter can be practical depending on the original document and printer; scale without cropping and follow any specific authority instruction.

The Visit Saudi terms require carrying a copy at the first arrival. Check legibility, not merely whether the printer produced a page. Keep essential copies separate from the phone and do not publish visa images on social media. Children’s and companions’ documents should remain identifiable and secure.

If the email is missing or the address was wrong

Start with the official account or tracking reference. If the record is approved but the document is inaccessible, contact official support with the reference, submission date and email used. Provide full identity evidence only through the secure channel requested.

A printed visa does not resolve an uncertain status

Do not rely solely on a PDF if the official service shows a cancelled, rejected, expired or otherwise unusable record. Conversely, the absence of a passport sticker is normal for an electronic visa. Ask for clarification if the displayed status and the document conflict.

Add the verified visa to your travel folder with tickets, accommodation, insurance and health records. If your passport has been replaced since issuance, obtain official guidance before assuming the old visa can still be used.
