Formalities and health

• Confirm occupancy and actual beds.
• Check the walking route, slope and useful mosque entrance.
• Ask about lifts, shower access and accessibility.
• Get shuttle times and drop-off points.
• Save cancellation terms, taxes and meal inclusions.
• Ask about luggage storage before check-in and after checkout.

Transport

• Arrange arrival airport to first hotel.
• Choose a train, bus or taxi between cities.
• Check baggage rules and boarding deadlines.
• Add every station-to-hotel journey.

Recheck 72 hours before departure

Check the flight, terminal, visa, passport, health requirements, security advice, hotel confirmation, arrival transfer and Nusuk appointment. Download current documents again and photograph your luggage. Confirm your arrival time and accessible entrance with the hotel.

For long-haul itineraries, pay attention to overnight date changes, local arrival dates and any transit documents. Recheck later updates too: a 72-hour review is a planning checkpoint, not a guarantee that nothing will change.

On arrival and after returning home

Use official transport on arrival, keep receipts and let a trusted person know you have arrived. Leave some breathing space in the itinerary during your stay. After returning home, retain invoices and evidence until any complaint is resolved, and note what you would change next time.
